Day 1: Welcome Muscat

As your plane lands, your driver will wait for you at Muscat airport and take your hotel for a restful evening. You will spend the night in Muscat. You can arrive to Muscat in the evening or early morning on next day because the tour of Muscat city will begin in the morning on the next day.

Day 2: Snorkeling, Boat Trip & Muscat city tour 

After breakfast, hop on a boat to explore the marine life of the Damaniyat Islands, enjoy the refreshing sea breeze, panoramic coastal views, dive into the crystal clear waters to discover the coral reefs and sea turtles.

In the afternoon, embark on the city tour of Muscat, the capital of Oman. Walk through the alleyways of the Muttrah Souq (market), take a peek at the royal residence of the Al Alam Palace and visit the National Museum.

Enjoy the Welcome Dinner among the group of newly found women adventurer friends, together with your tour guide.

Enjoy an overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 3: Wadis (Valleys) & city of Sur

After breakfast, this first big item on your busy schedule is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the largest Mosque of Oman, built in 1992 by the late Sultan of OmanQaboos bin Said Al Said. You will depart Muscat and head to explore the Omani nature, drive through the scenic countryside and wadis (valleys), dates, lemon and mango plantations. Stop at the Wadi Shab and later swim in the deep blue water of the limestone sinkhole in Bimmah. Our next item on our trip is the Wadi Tiwi, a spectacularly deep and narrow gorge carved out of the mountains.

You will end the day in the city of Sur for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Wadi Bani Khalid and the Desert Escape

After breakfast, you will enjoy a scenic drive through rugged Omani landscape to reach Wadi Bani Khalid and take a refreshing swim in a nature-made oasis.

In the afternoon you will head straight to the Desert Camp where you will take part in desert activities including a quad bike, a camel ride and a Jeep Safari tour across the desert sands. You will also visit a Bedouin village where you can try on the local Omani dresses. End the day with a delicious dinner in the camp and dance by the fireside to the tune of a distant Omani music. You will spend the night in the Camp.

Day 5: Nizwa Town

After breakfast, you will depart to Nizwa town, one of the artery towns of Oman, stroll through the Nizwa souq (market), take a glimpse at traditional Omani "Khanjar" daggers and visit the heart of the town, the Nizwa Fort. In the afternoon, explore the nearby village which will take you back in time.

Day 6: Jebel Shams and Muscat

After breakfast, you will head to the "Grand Canyon" equivalent of Oman, to the highest mountain peak. Arrive back to Muscat by the evening.

Day 7: Farewell Oman

After breakfast, you will head to the Airport to catch your flight.

  • Flights to and from Oman are not included.

  • Entrance tickets to museums and Mosque, Forts, Wadis (Valleys).

  • Drop off to Airport on last day

Travelers must provide evidence that they have purchased travel insurance for the duration of their adventure.

Question: why is airport transfer not included on last day?

Answer:  because many of our travellers decide to stay longer or have other plans after the trip.

Question: what time shall I arrive on Day 1?

Answer: the hotel check in opens at 2pm on Day 1, so you can either arrive in the morning, drop off your luggage in the hotel's dedicated luggage holder and explore the city on your own. Alternatively, you can arrive in the afternoon or the evening. Sometimes our travellers even arrive early morning on Day 2. There are no activities on Day 1 because it is an arrival day.

Question: at what time shall I depart to the airport on last day?

Answer: the hotel check out is at midday.

​

Question: is this trip right for me?

Answer:  this is a road trip with daily car rides for several hours from one place to another. You will always be on the move and check in and check out of different hotels, desert camp and guest houses. You will enjoy this trip if you are comfortable with constant movement across different parts of Oman.
